Today, June 5th, is World Environment Day. A significant day that reminds us of the importance of protecting our environment and driving sustainable change. World Environment Day, which takes place every year on June 5th, aims to raise awareness of environmental issues, help protect our natural resources and promote positive change. We are proud to be actively involved in this global event.
Under the motto “Safe. Smart. Clean” we develop EVOMOTIV the mobility of tomorrow in a way that takes ecological and social aspects into account equally. Our vision is to create a sustainable and holistic form of mobility that is safe, intelligent and environmentally friendly. ESG factors play a central role in this. ESG stands for “Environmental, Social and Governance” and encompasses the three central pillars of sustainability. At EVOMOTIV We integrate these ESG factors into our strategy and business practices to promote sustainable development.
“Environmental” includes aspects such as the use of resources, reducing emissions and protecting the environment. “Social” refers to social issues such as fair working conditions, equal opportunities and social commitment. “Governance” means responsible corporate management and ethical behavior.
In the area of the environment, we want to support the goals of the Paris Climate Agreement by driving forward concrete CO2 reduction measures. This year, we have already largely switched to renewable energies and are on the way to expanding our e-fleet. Many of our locations are already equipped with heat pumps and photovoltaic systems. We are also aiming to implement an environmental management system in order to continuously reduce our ecological footprint. We also save resources such as water in our daily office life by, for example, equipping our taps with sparkling water systems to eliminate the consumption of PET bottles. We are determined to continuously look for innovative solutions.
