For a long time, people were wondering where the 2012 company outing would take them. The mysterious request for a change of clothes in the invitation gave rise to astonishing speculation. Theories were put forward and then rejected, attempts at bribery were made and even the tools of a Sherlock Holmes were unpacked in order to know more than their colleagues. In the end, around 28 highly motivated colleagues met at the office in Echterdingen on September 50th to be surprised by the Event AG.
A coach set off with an unknown destination, and only after there was no way to get off was the secret revealed: this year's company outing would offer the opportunity to visit the newest location of EVOMOTIV in Ulm. If you thought at this point, “Oops, there isn’t a roof on there in Ulm yet or why do you need a change of clothes?”, you should find the right answer in Erbach on the banks of the beautiful Danube.
Before everyone could admire the new premises, the first thing to do was to pack everything waterproof, quickly warm up the tennis elbow and then get into the boats. EVOMOTIV goes on a canoe trip.
From Erbach, two to four colleagues boarded Canadian canoes and set off on a 15 km adventure tour, with fierce water fights, breathtaking head-to-head races and experiences pushing the limits of tipping stability to the exit point in Neu-Ulm.
Hungry and thirsty, we then took the bus back to the wonderfully decorated Ulm office, where an eventful day came to an end with a delicious buffet, rousing music and the legendary EVO Caipis, which ended after midnight with the return to Echterdingen.
