Can you have fun on a sailing trip on Lake Ammersee with lots of EVO people in a confined, swaying space at 32°C outside? The answer is YES!
A warm summer day, bright sunshine, and a colorful group of EVO people - what could be better? On August 22nd, the adventurers from Munich and Ingolstadt ventured out on an unforgettable sailing adventure on Lake Ammersee. Organized and prepared by Basti, this day promised to be an extraordinary experience - and every expectation was exceeded.
The participants were divided into two groups and taken to the chartered yawl - the "WIKING III" - in a small rowing boat. But before setting off, care was taken to ensure that no one went thirsty under the scorching sun. Drinks were stacked in the ship's belly, ready to cool the throats of the sailing adventurers.
With the sails set and the captain and crew on board, the yacht set off into the lake. The first gusts of wind filled the sails and the mood on board was only surpassed by the sun. Even with a light breeze, there was a slight list, which provided the necessary thrill. Most of the moments, however, were accompanied by calm gliding, which in no way dampened the mood.
What made this sailing trip truly unforgettable was the shared spirit that EVOMOTIV team. Laughter echoed across the deck, lively conversations filled the air, and some simply enjoyed the silence and the majestic view of the lake. This is where the true team spirit of EVO was shown - respectful interaction with one another, support in every situation and the willingness to pull together. So without hesitation a few EVOs paddled back to rescue a few forgotten EVO Birkenstocks.
After returning to the port, the thirst for adventure was not yet satisfied. To everyone's delight, large delivery boxes of delicious pizza were brought to fill hungry stomachs and provide the perfect end to this exciting day.
What remains in our memories is a day full of laughter, team spirit and the anticipation of the next sailing trip.
