Last September, a terrible earthquake shook Morocco. With great warmth and determination, our EVOMOTIVler Fouad, who comes from Morocco, started a fundraising campaign within our company to help those affected by the natural disaster.
The donations in kind (clothing, backpacks, diapers, toys, etc.) could be dropped off at the Flachter office and were transported to Morocco at the end of November. There, Fouad personally made sure that they landed in the heart of the affected region: in a remote village in the middle of the mountains. This village was particularly hard hit by the earthquake and is difficult to reach due to its location.
Fouad says: “Despite the destruction and suffering, the villagers welcomed us very warmly. They made a bonfire for us and offered us tea and scrambled eggs. They were very happy about the donations in kind and thanked us again and again.”
A big thank you goes to Fouad for this impressive commitment and to all EVOs who made this important campaign possible.
