The area of NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) is becoming increasingly important in the automotive industry. On the one hand, NVH is important for driving comfort and stress-free travel. On the other hand, the advance of electromobility and new environmental protection guidelines are making niche areas in NVH such as Active Sound or Acoustic Vehicle Alerting System more prominent.
The EVOMOTIV GmbH has taken up the topic and carries out a wide range of measurements for road-excited, drive train-excited and wheel/tire-excited vibrations in a 550m² workshop area. To do this, our experts adapt to the customer's requirements and use different systems for the measurements.
In addition to the usual analyses, our experts also carry out special services such as the acoustic analysis of fans, the structure-borne sound investigation of auxiliary units or the analysis of brake issues and spoilers, as well as drive train bearings.
Our team is also working on the future fields of Active Sound and Acoustic Vehicle Alerting System. The former is needed to artificially generate a good sound in sports engines despite downsizing. The latter is an artificial sound for electric motors to acoustically warn pedestrians of an approaching vehicle.
