New year new resolutions

Have you already thought about resolutions for the new year? More exercise, more time for yourself, more time for friends, less sweets, ... these are the typical suspects.

We have also made a resolution for this year - more humanity. In order to focus more on this in everyday life, there is a campaign every month for more #praise #self-reflection #honesty #sayingthankyou #appreciation #tolerance #empathy

Of course, one action is not enough. But what exactly do we mean by humanity in the workplace?

In principle, it's simple - it's about the little things that make the working day more pleasant: making a colleague a coffee, bringing the printed material, holding the door open or simply saying thank you.

Respectful interaction creates a feel-good culture at work. And this in turn promotes fun at work. It creates a relaxed atmosphere in which mutual taunts and jokes are allowed, mistakes can be made and people can be human.

Being human also includes a certain amount of empathy and self-reflection. This does not mean that you have to be extremely emotional and self-critical, but rather that you should be considerate of colleagues' difficult situations and offer them help.

In this sense, you should also question your own behavior more often and not assume that you assess everything correctly and do everything right.

Last but not least, it is also important to show genuine interest in your colleagues. So put your smartphone away during your lunch break and actively talk to the people around you. This way we also learn more about our colleagues, which makes working together easier and more enjoyable.

Our Environmental management policy

The environmental policy of EVOMOTIV is aimed at controlling, regulating and minimising the impact of business and human activities on the environment. This is achieved through a variety of measures and initiatives:


1. Resource efficiency and conservation: EVOMOTIV focuses on economical use of energy and water. Standby modes are avoided and energy-saving IT devices are used.

2. Raising awareness among employees: Through lock screens, e-learning and tips on
In-house events raise employees’ awareness of environmental issues.

3. Promoting biodiversity: EVOMOTIV expands green spaces and builds refuges for insects, such as flower meadows, green roofs and bee hotels.

4. Sustainable food: EVOMOTIV focuses on local, seasonal and fairly traded food and relies on reusable tableware.

5. Paperless office: EVOMOTIV aims to work completely paperless.

6. Use of renewably produced fuels: Until the fleet is fully electrified, the focus will be on fuels obtained from renewable energy sources.

7. Electrification of the fleet: EVOMOTIV plans to electrify its fleet to reduce CO2 emissions.

8. Ecologically produced merchandise: EVOMOTIV buys environmentally friendly gifts for employees and customers.

9. Reduction of data waste: EVOMOTIV is committed to reducing data waste in order to minimize the environmental impact of digital waste.

Our social commitment is reflected in our support of various non-profit organizations. Our colleagues are actively involved, for example through actions such as “Cycling for a good cause“.
