On Saturday, February 15.02.2014, XNUMX, it was time again. A group of brave EVOMOTIVler set out at dawn to storm the Feldberg. Arriving at the Haus der Natur in pouring rain, after a short instruction on how to handle the snowshoes, we walked in single file to the Seebuck summit.
Once we reached the top, not only did the fog thicken, but so did the certainty that it was going to be a fun but also exhausting day. After a short break for refreshments, the group stormed the Feldberg together and only had to admit defeat to the strong wind and the ever-present fog. To warm up, we stopped at the St. Wilhelmer Hut for a hearty sausage salad and bratwurst. After this refreshment, we went out again to cover the remaining distance to the starting point.
On this day the sun was the only spoilsport, but this had no influence on our decision to attempt the Feldberg with our snowshoes again next year.
