Last Thursday we opened our doors to curious girls who wanted to take a look behind the scenes.
The aim of Girls Day is to encourage and inspire young women to become enthusiastic about STEM careers and to explore possible career paths in the fields of mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and technology.
The participants had the chance to use their creative minds and build their own fidget spinner. The parts for the fidget spinner were pre-printed in advance in the 3D printer, and they were able to experience first-hand how the 3D printer works. They also got exclusive insights into our parking tests, where our vehicles are put through their paces. In the high-voltage laboratory, they were not only able to gain insights, but also get their hands dirty and do some soldering themselves. A site tour rounded off the day before we all gathered for a barbecue.
A huge thank you to all participants for their enthusiasm and curiosity!
