The aim of the ISMS (Information Security Management System) is to
- confidentiality
- integrity
- Availability
of information and personal data.
Confidentiality is guaranteed when information and data are protected from unauthorized access. Confidential information and data may only be accessible to the respective authorized group of people.
Integrity means ensuring the accuracy of information and protecting against falsification.
Availability means that information is available to authorized persons when needed and systems are in place in such a way that failures can be compensated for within a tolerable range. The financial effort to ensure availability is in a reasonable relationship to the value of the associated sales and costs.
