Camera systems for environmental monitoring are currently being introduced into all models of new vehicle developments. In this case, EVOMOTIV responsibility for the necessary, high-performance hardware until series release.

Initial situation:
Camera-based driver assistance systems are increasingly being used in modern vehicles. Surround view creates a seamless image of the entire vehicle environment. This requires powerful hardware that must meet all environmental qualifications for hardware components applicable in the automotive industry.
Project assignment:
EVOMOTIV was commissioned to support the development of a surround view system. In this context, the responsibility for camera and control device hardware was transferred to EVOMOTIV transfer.
Implementation:
In coordination with the customer and its suppliers, the necessary environmental tests were defined, supervised, tested and documented. These were primarily EMC measurements as well as design and product validation test legs.
Solution:
Optimization potential was derived from the tests and incorporated in several loops. Once all requirements were met, a release recommendation could be made.
