- Automated driving

The automotive industry is working at full speed on the development of autonomous driving. It is particularly important that the overall system works. EVOMOTIV The customers.
Project Details
Initial situation:
On the way to autonomous driving, a large number of systems/sensors must be developed and tested for their interactions with one another. To do this, series vehicles are equipped with a network of various hardware and software components.
Project assignment:
EVOMOTIV was commissioned to support the overall system commissioning and testing of autonomous vehicles. This includes tasks such as error analysis, ensuring that hardware and software are suitable for testing, developing interfaces to all component teams and supporting overall system tests on test sites and roads.
Implementation:
Firstly, all component teams involved are coordinated to ensure that the vehicle is built correctly and on time. The entire system is then commissioned and maintained using a variety of tools such as CANoe or Monaco. And an important part of the implementation is also the monitoring and execution of the trial and test drives in order to analyse, document and correct any errors that occur.
Solution:
As a result of the interface development, communication weaknesses were uncovered and eliminated. In addition, the constant development of the processes makes it possible to work even more effectively, which means that the start-up curve of the vehicles is constantly increasing. More and more know-how for autonomous driving can be gathered from the constant increase in the number of test vehicles.
