Intelligent charging stations as the key to electromobility: EVOMOTIV defines the requirements for these stations and oversees their development until rollout.

Initial situation:
User data will be collected in a large-scale model experiment. In order for energy suppliers to be able to create the appropriate infrastructure, the potential of electric vehicles as mobile energy storage devices as well as charging and mobility behavior should be researched.
Project assignment:
EVOMOTIV analyzed the requirements for the required charging infrastructure and the data logger together with the automobile manufacturers and energy suppliers. The development process for implementing the requirements was then supervised up until the rollout.

As part of the project, around 100 intelligent charging stations were installed. The use of what was then Germany's largest electric fleet provided important insights into charging and mobility behavior.
