Initial situation:
Within a corporate group, intersections and responsibilities between several departments were not defined. In addition, unrelated subject areas were placed in one department. This led to strong conflicts of interest and goals within the department.
The result was redundancies, a lack of methodological competence and, in some cases, missing process steps.
Project assignment:
EVOMOTIV helps the customer to create a concept that is adapted to the organization and existing operational processes. In addition, a topic clustering was carried out for this purpose.
Implementation:
In order to carry out the project, an existing department was redefined and a new department was created. The customer was supported with a concept in order to build up the methodological competence in the new department.
Solution:
Through the advice of EVOMOTIV Faster and more technically sound decision-making was achieved through decentralized responsibility with centralized procedures (e.g. additional prices, bottlenecks, supplier selection). In addition, cross-departmental processes in supplier quality were improved.
