- complete vehicle

Future vehicles must meet ever higher requirements. The strict legal requirements and the increasing electrification mean that the development of high-quality cockpits requires enormous development effort, in which EVOMOTIV actively supports the customer.
Project Details
Initial situation:
The cockpit with the instrument panel represents the central interface between the occupants and the vehicle. It contains the majority of the display and control elements as well as a large number of components and individual parts that must work together smoothly. In the sports car and luxury segment, the cockpit must meet the highest safety and quality standards.
Project assignment:
Support the development and integration of instrument panels taking into account all technical requirements such as manufacturability, customer suitability and legal requirements.
Implementation:
As part of the instrument panel development team, complex components with a wide range of materials and functions are developed in close coordination with adjacent specialist departments. In compliance with the milestones of the product development process, the development work extends from the concept phase to series production. The main tasks within these phases are the coordination and management of suppliers, concept development, scheduling and cost control, and change management.
Solution:
At the end of the development process, we ensure that the supplier can produce instrument panels that come off the production tool and that meet our customer's high quality standards not only in terms of functionality but also in terms of feel and appearance.
