High-voltage batteries require various types of sensors to ensure and guarantee their functionality. In addition to battery temperature measurement, current measurement is of central importance and must be implemented in accordance with functional and safety-related requirements.
Project assignment:
EVOMOTIV has been commissioned by a customer from the electromobility industry to take responsibility for components for various sensors in high-voltage batteries.
Implementation:
Various automotive-grade sensors were designed and evaluated for use in high-voltage environments. From supplier assessment and supplier management to overseeing the development of a suitable sensor, EVOMOTIV coordinated the entire process chain.
Solution:
The sensors developed for series installation are used in many series from different automobile companies. Their functional and safety-compatible development plays a major role in the safe and reliable installation of high-voltage storage systems in vehicles from the electromobility sector.
